Please join us on 3/9/2017 at the Engineers Club of Dayton as we welcome Jason Woodard, founder and principal of Woodard Development. This will be a lunch time fireside chat with Jason. We'll discuss the dramatic changes in the the Downtown Dayton landscape that Woodard Development is helping to lead. Ticket includes lunch by the Engineers Club of Dayton.
Jason Woodard is the Founder and Principal of Woodard Development. He is active in the Dayton community as a participant in the Mayor’s business roundtable, Graduate of Leadership Dayton, Dayton Development Coalition Developer forum, NAIOP Ohio Board Member and Past-President of the Dayton NAIOP Chapter.
Jason began his career in public accounting in 1997 and transitioned to commercial real estate in 2000. He developed over 700,000 square feet of Class A office, R&D and mixed-use projects valued at over $150 million with two prominent regional development firms over a twelve year span in southwest Ohio.
In 2012, Jason started Woodard Development to fulfill a desire to redevelop property in Dayton’s urban core. This market had been neglected by other development organizations in favor of suburban development. Woodard Development has focused on urban infill projects and re-purposing existing buildings including Water Street, a $100M mixed-use project on the Dayton riverfront.
Jason was born and raised in southwest Ohio and graduated from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Jason is currently on the NAIOP Board of Directors at the local, state and national levels. He is an avid reader, enjoys anything fitness related and has a renewed relationship with his golf game. He is married to his beautiful wife Lindsay, they have two daughters and a son.
