Deb Norris, Senior VP of Sinclair College's Workforce Development & Corporate Services, will update us on their recent successes along with sharing where industry partners might contribute.

Speaker Bio:  Deb was appointed by President Johnson as Sinclair's first workforce vice president in 2006.  She oversees a team responsible for understanding the workforce needs of employers and then developing a wide range of services to meet those needs.  She has more than 25 years of extensive business experience including business development, strategic planning, and marketing in a variety of business environments.  Deb also oversees many of Sinclair's regional and state workforce initiatives including Unmanned Aerial Systems, Advanced Manufacturing, Fuyao, and the launch of Sinclair's first Cyber Technology Center, at Austin Landing. Currently, Deb serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation.  She was selected as an Honorary Commander at WPAFB.  Deb is a graduate of Leadership Dayton and is a member of Dayton Rotary. Deb was named a Dayton Daily News Top Ten Woman in 2006, chosen as a "Woman of Influence" by the Dayton YWCA in 2008 and in 2014 was named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in the Dayton region by the Dayton Business Journal.  In 2015, Deb was named one of the Top 25 Women to Watch by WIBN (Women in Business Networking, a Better Business Bureau Dayton/Miami Valley program). Defense In 2015 Deb once again selected as one of the fifty most influential women in the region by the Dayton Business Journal.  In 2015, and 2016 she was named as one of Dayton's Top 100 people in Aerospace. In 2016, Deb was selected to serve on the City Wide Development Board.  Deb holds a BS and an MBA from the University of Dayton.
