The Hitchhiker's Guide to Dayton Tech & Startups

Code & Coffee & 3D Printing!!

  • Proto Build Bar 534 East 1st Street Dayton, OH, 45402 United States

Join us for the last Code & Coffee of 2016! Bring your holiday cheer down to Proto for some 3D printing, coffee and coding.

Code & Coffee is an ongoing opportunity for you to practice your skills, meet new friends, and get help if you need it. Bring your laptop, your recent projects, and your programming problems!

3D Printing
This month we'll be 3D printing holiday ornaments or decorations with the help of Proto's awesome staff! Bring your own STL or OBJ file on a USB flash drive or use the computers at Proto to find and create something new. Find ideas at thingiverse.com and tinkercad.com. Feel free to get in touch with the Proto team with any questions you might have.

Some ideas for printing:

•  Star Wars Snowflakes

• Droidel (android shaped dreidel)

• Mario Star Tree Topper

• Phone Stand Keychain Stocking Stuffer

• Custom Cookie Cutters

All are welcome regardless of gender or skill level, whether or not you've attended past Girl Develop It events. If you're a beginner, we'll be right there to help you work through your questions as needed.

Intermediate and advanced folks are welcome to join as well. Please come share your wisdom and advice!

Code & Coffee events are relaxed and informal, and are intended as a way for our community to work and play together while providing each other with ongoing support and feedback.

This event is free, though of course we encourage you to support our fantastic host, Proto Build Bar!

Proto is a fun, hands-on place where people of all ages and experience levels can come together around a simple, yet powerful idea: “I want to make something great.”
