With nearly 20 years in the Governor’s Office in Cincinnati, Brenda has extensive experience in economic development and workforce development. She worked along with the governor’s local and state staff to secure new companies, new investments and new jobs for Ohio while packaging various loan, research and development, tax credit and grant programs as incentives for companies in retention and growth mode. Latanza took on her new role in Preble County in February of 2015 after retiring from Sinclair Community College with 30 years in public employment. In Brenda’s seven years at Sinclair in the Workforce Development Division, she had most recently been project director for three large grants. As director of the Preble County Development Partnership, she upholds the mission to advance, encourage and promote the industrial, commercial and civic development of Preble County with primary focus in business retention, new business recruitment, marketing and community outreach and workforce development.
