Our March meetup panel discussion on hiring in UX was so popular, and the audience had so many unanswered questions, that we've decided to do a PART 2. The panel of hiring UX managers all felt that there was more to say and this time we'd like to focus most of the time on what qualifications those who hire UX people are looking for. And as usual since the panel represents a broad variety of industry and business types, you can expect that the qualifications will vary. Yet, like last time, in the differences we'll also see common core similarities.
So prepare your questions now and plan to attend whether you are looking for a job/gig now or not its good insights for that someday when you are.
If you are going to be hiring UX people this panel discussion will also give you insights into what to look for plus you'll get to meet panel members who've been doing this for years that can mentor you.
More details will come on who the panelists are. We're going to try to get the same panelists back and expand the list with even broader representation. If you have ideas of who to invite to join the panel, please send them to me in a message. Thanks, Darren
